Title: Anyone had experience with Bride seats?
Post by: Andyp on May 26, 2004, 10:05:08 PM
I\'m thinking of whacking my Bride seat in for Rotorstock to see if I wanna use it in Germany. Do you think I\'ll get anymore space out of it? Are they comfy for long runs?

Ta :D

Its alright, but after 30 mins on a motorway you will wish you had the standard seat in probably.

Im used to mine now, but still think about using a cushion sometimes :D

Is it the same as this http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=22265

Wanna sell it, I kinda fancy a passenger side one now this is a 2nd car.

You need to put it in and allow time to get used to driving it.  For the first week or so I hated the car and it felt un-driveable.  You wouldnt believe how different the roads and bumps your used to driving over will feel.  Thought the car was on edge all the time.

I\'ve got the same in mine, but unfortunately my report doesn\'t match with yours, Lee!!

The frame design won\'t allow me to lower the seat to the floor, so it is on its highest setting, still lower than stock though.

I get slightly more legroom than stock as well.

In terms of comfort, I find it far more comfortable than the stock seat which used to give me back ache.

Maybe I have a more squidgy bum ;)

Hmm maybe.  Mine is lower and gives more leg room.  Just gives me a numb bum on long trips :D

just out of interest where are you lot ordering these from, any uk websites?? Wouldnt mind seeing more pics of the seat in the above pic in red etc.

Are they a perfect fit also, no rubbing on door panels etc??

Cheers

Perfect fit, mine goes in easier than the standard seat.  Its on a Bride FD specific subframe which would help though.
