Hi Everyone :WaveBye I am new to the club. My name is Charlotte but im known as Charlie :yes Have just bought my first Rotary! :driving
 
She is a Type R FD3S. Buying her off a friend. She needs a rebuild so will be a while before we are on the road but looking forward to the project. :)
 
Look forward to chatting etc, and prob asking for quite a bit of help!!! :)

Thanks for the welcome. Thats good then, im excited about getting my 7 but nervous to!! Hope shes good to me and doesnt break all the time!! Ive had sooo many people say to me  "Oh dear, what have you done!!"   :-/

Not sure whats wrong with her TBH. I know she has some kinda water leak and thats about it. Mate said she starts and when he bought her he ran her up the road and back but didnt wanaa risk anything. He said it maybe something simple but then again it might not,  hence when we go pick her up it will be with a trailer ;-)

ok cool get a specialist to check it over before u get a rebuild as i had a water leak n it ended up being i slight crack in a pipe, the guys on here will b able to give u advice on test u can carry out to see wat the problem is

A guy that my OH works with at Airbus rebuilds them. I would have thought he is a member on here somewhere...his name is Dave. I dont know him that well but Chris (the OH) does. We\'l be taking it to him ;-)

nice looking FD there makes me want to buy more stuff for mine more and more, theres quite a few RX7s in Glos aswell by the looks of it so if you need any help im more then happy to lend a helping hand

Well i have to agree that with them being tempermental and demanding i think they are defo she\'s and thats coming from a she!!! Lol
 
Everyone refers to them as The Rex, i cant think of a girlie alternative?? May have to be just The 7 !!

And they are definately girls - you don\'t get curves like that on the boys!!

And in true Airwolf-stylee mine is simply referred to as "The Lady" :)
