Title: another white smoke problem
Post by: thomas_mk6 on August 22, 2010, 07:25:31 PM
hey guys, havent been on here in a while since i sold my rex, went to have a look at another one the weekend, did all the regular checks but i have a question, it hadnt been started in a few weeks, started cold no problem, little white smoke but i put this down to condensation, let her get warm and turned her off, a few more looks around then started it again, started no problem however there was constant white smoke from the back, seemed to stay constant with the revs too, the pessimist in me says water seals but am unsure, i think a compression test is needed because this will hint to me if the seals are on their way out yes?

thanks
