Who would like to respresent MRC in the RWYB Club Competition:
All clubs booked in advance at Rotorstock will get to nominate one driver to represent them in the Club Competition. Each driver gets free sign on and a unique number.
The club reps will be posting times on behalf of their club that will be listed on the Rotorstock website after the event and the top time will earn their club a trophy!
Enter you name below if you are interested.
FDUK & RX-8OC please also select your driver to represent your club.
Not one reply:3Confused
Guess no one is interested in competing in this competition then?
Still not one response:eek:
Come on guys where\'s competitive spirit?
Even RX8 OC members are putting two members forward and we have no one interested in representing MRC:xconfused
I guess out (RX8OC) fear of getting crushed by the FD boys was all uin needed.
\'may have just the thing\' (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/showthread.php?p=711669#post711669) ;)
i may do this again although the car hasnt been run for about 6 months
Well done guys:Thumbsup!
So we have TRex & Davehg representing MRC in the Inter club competiton up the drag strip.
We will advise you both of further details later.
In the event of either of these guys not being able to make it please could we also have a reserve list going on here.
I need to tell the Pod by dinner time who is doing this on behalf of MRC ???
Hi Clive I did this last year but for another club to let Lee mills Compete for mrc, happy to do it again but would like some slow runs first to get trust in the car as It\'s been so long since taking it out.
Dave
I\'m on the rollers now, all looking good so far and will report within the hour.. :Thumbs-up
Thanks Dave,
This year its two nominated cars so we still need another
im more than happy to give my place to someone else as i was not planning on taking mine down the strip after the hastle of blowing my diff the other year.... but am also happy to help the club out
so what happend in this? in recent years there was always a cash prize was this in place this year??? colum from fduk ran 11.4 what was the best time from the mrc/rx8oc representation?
As far as I know there was no official representation from FDUK as there was still nobody official entered when I saw the list in the sign on office at around 11.oc (you had to be in it to win it)
Also not for the Sprint where Robbie won for the RX8OC, which was an overall win anyway .
I am told that the caged up Subaru won on the strip with a low 12
Well colums best was 11.4 winning class B, below is a video of an 11.8 run, if you want to say that the fastest rwyb car at a rotary day was a Subaru then I think that\'s a poor show for the rotary scene.

Rob please have less of the "attitude" and read my post above,
Due to people being silly over these timed events two years ago on the Rotary Stand when they were actualy 4th fastest, Santa Pod run the timed events and this is nothing to do with MRC , so if your looking for sombody to argue with please ring 01234 4782828, thank you.
Lisa/Clive (as I\'m not sure who actually sent the msg as virtually the same was posted by Lisa then subsequently replaced by clives reply) ok i accept the signing on proceedure for this competition wasn\'t advertised as well as you could of done but it\'s something you can work on as the "organisers" and therefore failed to get the fastest cars involved. There is no "attitude" from me just a passionate rotorhead.

10.3 @ 133mph oldone ports. GarageReg built.
Ha! Might be interested next year, as I\'ve no idea what would be involved, nevermind the fact that my FD (twin, not stripped out) with me behind wheel won\'t be winning anything ;-)
