please let me know what you think and i\'m really looking forward to getting it to Rotorstock ! :Giggle
hi, the wheels have come up well, are you going to refit a spoiler ?
ye the wheels have been refurbed and diamond cut. We might put them up for sale, as we have another set, not sure yet though
As for the spoiler, it\'s being sprayed this week and will hopefully be back on for Rotorstock
Good luck
Dibs
Here\'s a pic of the wheels close up, theyre only on there whilst the Wellers are being sprayed

Nice wheels!!
Leave the wing off looks hell better without !!
how much has it been lowered by and with what products ??
Not too sure what it\'s been lowered with, but we might put a new set of springs on it
What are the options for lowering springs? I\'ve only found Racing Beat so far. It has red shock absorbers, which appear to look relatively new, not sure what make they are though, couldnt find a label
Thats come up real nice mate, same colour as my original 1st gen. Personally I think that looks nigh on perfect with those refurbed wheels, ride height and bare ass-I\'d leave her like that.
Are you going to sell the springs then? I\'d be interested if you do.
With regard to replacements, in this country I think GAZ are your best bet or if you are willing to import then Billy at Respeed is very helpful and his stuff is the nuts.
I think the previous owner may have introduced the springs to a hacksaw..... so i wouldnt want them lol
Haha, fair play. I must admit she does look slammed.
Very nice wheels on your s2,love the colour of the car as well.

I agree leave the rear spoiler off & lose the chavvy stickers!
I can\'t see any Ripspeed stickers?
Superb looking car. Shock, Surprise.
That is the one I\'d been looking for. I knew there was a Blue drift car in Rugby, lowered springs, no spoiler and 2 sets of wheels. I thought it would be in a mess but no, it\'s great.
Thanks for the trouble to post pics.
There could be a queue for those S2 wheels in that nick, if you\'re always going to run the Wellers, keep the S2\'s well wrapped up.
Dave.
I dunno I quite like the odd sticker
Looks wicked! only thing i would do is have the spoiler left on. Wheels look amazing.
where did you get them done and at what cost? can email me the details if you like.
The spoiler is being given a coat of paint and will then be back on.
The wheels were refurbed by the previous owner (or possibly the one before him) Not sure on the cost, but i asked the guy at the bodyshop i use and he\'s just had some old Celica Supra wheels diamond cut and they cost £165 each!!!
Good lad with the spolier.
Ouch! may just give them a good sanding then :) thanks for the info!
or buy ours :D
Thank you for all your comments! im very very pleased with it and loving it more than any car ive owned so far he he hopefully see a few of you at rotorstock :Giggle
looking good, woodford ford by chance?

Will paint not crack on the flexible rubber spoiler?
Did the Elfords have firmer or fibreglass spoilers?
Hi Dave, looking forward to seeing this at Roitorstock 7 :Viking
Wo, those wheels look good :Thumbsup!

The paint is having a plasticiser put in it, it will crack if it\'s bent alot, but should hopefully be ok

Nothin makes you smile more than an FB:D:D:D
Car looks amazing Dave - is the interior as good as the exterior? More importantly how is the floorpan and associated areas?
To reiterate, ye think you\'ll have no problem passing on the spare set of wheels.
Cliff
Here are a couple of pics with the Wellers on-

And you mate, it\'s good to see a rapidly increasing following for FB\'s.

Yes you have - May 2009....bought as a project....a fair bit of work gone on under the bonnet to judge by the look of it now.
It looks completely different.
Like wow.... transformation.
Sorry j4cko, dave et al.........gone off post here, won\'t happen again.
Sorry I prefer the standard car, Still what ever rocks your boat ..............
I\'ve got every respect for you guys with project cars and some very good modifications but I\'m an old f**t and you can\'t beat the sleak lines of the standard car, just how Mazda intended them to be. Keep up the good work.
:cheers
Well it\'s been a while since my last post so i thought i\'d do a quick update.
The FB spectacularly failed its MOT test last year, needs a bit of welding, so we\'ll be trying to get all the work done over the next couple of months so we can enjoy a bit of the summer. If anybody met us at Rotorstock 2010, then you\'d have known there were 3 of us that owned the car together. Tragically Tom was killed in a motorcycle accident earlier this year, so we\'re going to get the car back on the road as a bit of a memorial. We\'ll keep you posted on the progress
That\'s truly sad to hear.
Please do keep us posted.
I see Tom has a post up the page.....how sorry for him/his family/you and Dave

Real sorry to hear you lost your mate but wish you all the best with getting the car that was connected with him back up n running, hopefully you can get it to Rotorstock, an event that Tom obviously enjoyed
Please keep us posted
Sorry to hear that..... met you all at Rotorstock and saw the passion you all had so it would be great to see the car back on the road, let me know if i can help with anything!
Mark
will do thanks

Sorry j4cko, dave et al.........gone off post here, won\'t happen again.
This car has had a lot of time and work and spins the dyno up to around 210rwhp..
Well built car and hopefully out this summer!!
Well a quick update on this one, after much consideration we have decided to break our FB. The MOT failure list was quite long and we don\'t seem to be getting on too fast with fixing it. I\'ll get a proper breaking post up soon, but if people have any parts requests please let me know
Thats a real shame its a cracking looking car...just as much time and effort to break as to repair.
Maybe when we get it into the garage we\'ll have a change of heart. It\'s just too many projects I think!
So sorry to here about the tragedy with your friend.
I seriously hope you will be able to keep the FB on the road as they are getting rarer by the day. However, if you decide to break it, I\'ve sent you a PM with my email details.
I think we have decided that we will breaking the FB. Casey I\'ll send you an email to see if you\'re still after any bits. Once the car is in the garage ready to break I\'ll put up a proper post
