Title: Hydraulic Handbrake plumbing & positioning
Post by: James H on August 14, 2010, 01:48:34 PM
Right gonna install this next weekend but wanna be prepared n clear on what to do.

Am i right in thinkin its pretty straight forward install, the hydraulic handbrake in plumbing terms sits in the middle of the lines between the master cylinder & rear brakes, you run one line to the master cylinder then to the handbrake (replacing the original line) then the other line from the handbrake to the t piece for the rear calipers & then bleed?

Also would be helpful if anyone has any pictures of hydraulic handbrake positions in fc\'s cheers guys.

that is correct ;)
The line from the brake servo goed to the top of the hydro (input) and the line that goes from the hydro to the rear brakes goes from the end of the hydro cylinder!
