Title: Even more problems
Post by: FD3S Efini on August 13, 2010, 06:42:01 PM
So i recieved my front brake pads courtesy of DR SCHNITZEL (cheers dude) i managed to change the passenger side pads without a drama but then i said those magical words....that was easy.

Then all hell broke loose, it started smashing it down with rain, the wife kicked over my drink (she soon scarpered lol) then i couldnt get the retaining pins out of the drivers side calliper, tried pulling it with grips smashing it with a hammer and cant get it out, anyone got any ideas how i can get them out?

or even better would be if there is anyone local who could give me a hand...i will keep you topped up with brews and biscuits whilst we work.

also where can you buy another set of retainer pins?

Cheers

Kris

ok i managed to get my local mazda dealership to order me some new pins, only £3.50 ech so i got 4.

Also when searching for the part number i came across a good parts catalogue for all RX7 generations heres the link:

http://www.mazdaspeeddevelopment.com/pages/cats/rx7pubs.html

could that be put into a sticky because im guessing that people will need the parts catalogue in the future,

Cheers
