Cheers Clive, what time can us Saturday only types get there on the Saturday?
Hi
As per attachement, gates open at 9.00am
Heads up Guys: apparently Mint Tyres haven\'t been booked for Rotorstock so if anyone needs cheap bald tyres to shred round the sprint circuit we need to let them know in advance and they\'ll try to get them there for us. :)
Sprint circuit? You mean DWYB :Giggle
ian.
well, apparently the drift pen is only for the pros so we will have to make the most of the sprint circuit and do it all wrong for maximum entertainment. :D
As much as i hate to say this as i\'m missing the show this year, can you make this one the best Rotorstock ever so it\'ll be around again next year :D
Have a great time all :Thumbs-up
Adam
If you have yet to buy your tickets, please note that I only have Saturday tickets available to purchase and these will be for collection at Santa Pod to avoid any delay or mishaps with the post.

So we have to arrive with everyone who\'s just there to see the cars? Isn\'t it normal for people going on the stand to be able to get there beforehand?

Real sorry dont understand what you want,
You will see people arriving to park on the stand all morning,
Just ordered 2 more tickets for the Saturday, so thats 4 of us in total heading down! cant wait :)
Here\'s the final map of Rotorstock 2010 so you can see the sprint track which has never been laid out so big
(please put this across other clubs )

Good man :driving
:) Cant wait, fingers crossed for the weather!
As someone who\'s never been on a stand at a show before, and in fact only been to one or two shows before.... will it be plenty obvious enough where/how to park once I actually get to the MRC stand? I\'m sure it\'ll be obvious enough to get from the main gates to the stand and all but, for example, will the cars be grouped by age or model or just lined up in the order they arrived at the show etc?
I\'m sure it\'ll be fairly obvious on the day I just don\'t wanna be a car show noob and park in completely the wrong place or alike!
p.s. shall post the map over on mx5nutz. :)
I\'ve got my weekend ticket but might be bringing a passenger-will he be able to purchase a weekend ticket on the gate?
oh and don\'t worry Steve-I\'ll probably get lost too so you won\'t be the only one. You\'ll probably find me stuck between the dodgems and the toilets!

Hi Steve
Pleased you are attending Rotorstock. If you look at the attached map you will see we are the first club stand and this is for members of ie MRC, FDUK & RX-8OC members to park on . Due to the number of cars arriving it is diffcult to manage putting cars in any order as cars arrive at all different times so just park anywhere on the stand.
Please feel free to post the map on the mx5nutz who have supported Rotorsotck for many years, or if fact any others forums or clubs you might think would be attending.

Yes they will, tickets for Saturday and weekend will be available to buy on the day and anyone needing just stand pass can also collect these from the collection offcie on the day.
Don\'t forget anyone who still requires a Saturday ticket and is a full club member can still buy them a £7.00 from the club shop.
Excellent cheers....

Sorry I mean shows have an opening time for the public and an opening time for getting cars to the stands, it\'s normally say 7am for cars to get onto the stands/whatever then the gates would open to the public at 9am.
Sorry for the confusion.
Hi Will hopefully be able to confirm the time the gates opne later today. Believe it is 8.00am

Clive / Lisa,
Do we need crash helmets, long sleeves and long trousers to go on the circuits?
Cheers, :)

Hi Crissy
Will check this but this is what it states on the website:-
Suitable for all types of cars, from hatches to saloons, the only thing that matters is that you are handy behind the wheel. FREE ENTRY! Suitable for all roadworthy Japanese cars. Seatbelt and driving licence required.
For those of you who can wait, gates open at 8.00am on Saturday
weather looks a little damp :(
But I\'m sure it won\'t dampen the spirit of the event :)
Excellent, thank you Lisa. Looks like I might be able to travel light for once! :D

Bump....Bump....
Update from Santa Pod regarding going out on the Sprint Track
"The sprint track only requires a seat-belt and driving licence. Cars are run at the track crew’s discretion, so if someone is totally ill-prepared, they might get turned away, but if you are “sensibly†dressed, that will be fine."
Thanks Lisa, much appreciated. :D
3 days to Rotorstock, don\'t forget to buy your tickets:Thumbs-up
Is there a cut off date for stand passes/ tickets? Waiting on my brother to confirm, who\'s waiting on his license renewal to arrive, very complicated!
Cut off is today. Don\'t worry you can still buy tickets on the day at Santa Pod and there will be also spare stand paases to collect from the Collection office.
Last day for buying Saturday tickets. I still have 12 left which I would sold by 10.00pm today which is the cut off.
weather looks like rain, nice to see the wet tradition of rotorstock is still going strong :(
All tickets via the shop are now sold. Don\'t forget you can still buy tickets on the gate.
Stand passes will be available to collect from the collection office, prior to buying your tickets.
Just ask for a stand passes for the MRC/FDUK/RX-8 OC
Is the mobile rolling road going to be there this year?
