Stumbled across this yesterday and thought I would treat myself, as well as hopefully educate me a little bit.

Anyways I went looking for a Rotary version as well, and found this in the states. http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXAY31&P=W#tech
Might get this if all goes well with the combustion engine. Anyone else used any of these?

Good find Mark,
Sorry I couldn\'t get the phone earlier ref track day, I will see if I can get you in tomorrow and give you a ring ,
I\'ve got the rotary version in my loft....unbuilt!!!!
Had it for about 5 years

I\'d leave it there - it would only throw a tip if you built it.
Sorry couldn\'t resist

Is it a Haynes one that you build up yourself? Think I will get one of these to help me and my brother understand. At the minute my brother believes that the rotary engine works with black magic :)
my wankel one im sure isnt a haynes one. I\'ll need to jump up into the loft
Oh right, I didn\'t think they made one. Started making the 4 pot at dinner and learned all about the 4 cycles of a four stroke engine :)
Really good little kit for numpties like me who know nothing about cars ;)
Then my brother complicated matters and started explaining how a 2 stroke works :(

Just pulled it down from the loft. Box a little dusty lol
Checked out the contents and all the plastic bags are unopened.
I bought this the day I agreed to buy my 1st rx7, thinking that I\'d build it and learn more about the engine. TBH I learned all I needed to through this forum and helpful local members to me.
That looks cool. Think I will be getting one at some point. There is a lot of information here, but I find it loads easier looking at this sort of thing. I spent dinner yesterday putting a few things together, reading the manual and identifying the parts. I learned more about a combustion engine yesterday dinner, than I ever have with the likes of my brother trying to explain.
Im just mechanically inept.
Thats fine though as my brother is thick when it comes to things like Access and Excel :D
