ive fitted one but it was to a pulsar. you have to wire it to power supply, earth, handbrake dash light switch. then on the ecu to the  crank angle sensor 180 degrees and crank angle 1 degrees signal wires.  but it should tell you that in the instructions you get with the unit ( i take it yours are missing fella lol)

so the green or yellow wire will go to either pins 4E or 4G, and  which ever is left out of green or yellow wire will go to 4H. get the wires the wrong way round and the car will crank but wont start. so as you can imagine once you have got the wires the right way round the car will start  :cheers

red wire is for switch 12v
black is for negative
white wire goes to handbrake light switch earth
cut the brown looped wire which will allow the car to run on a rotary engined application. make sure the grey wire loop is intact or it will be set for piston engines. if grey wire is cut reconnect the loop.

If this causes fuel cut be very careful. I would not use it if it did.

As far as I am aware it causes fuel cut but maybe wrong.

They don\'t cause fuel cut-they\'re far more craptacular than that.
They actually scramble the CAS signal at random intervals by earthing it. So the ECU has no idea WTF Is going on, and pretty much fires injectors and sparks at bonkers times. Stupid, stupid things.

they are quite popular on the drifting scene aparently. they are sometimes used as a cheap form of launch control as well. i didn treally rate mine, and never used it.

They\'re popular in the drift scene as they are \'JDM tyte y0\' flamer kits, basically. So therefore they\'re acceptable. If you want a rev limiter, get a proper one like an Omex, or an ECU that you can set it properly, don\'t use these stupid chav bodges.

Alternatively, if you really hate rocker arms, and love gambling witha  top end, putting on on an SR20 is a great idea!

lol yeah thats why i never really used mine. its the pulsar engines they damage the arms on because they can jump a shim out, then the rocker arm drops off the valve spring sideways and the cam comes back round and snaps the rocker arm. the rwd type sr20s are fine. but thats not the bee r thats causing it its just hitting the limiter in general

Oh no they\'re not ;)
Rockers breaking on SR\'s are a large percentage of the time caused by Bee*R\'s :)
You can bounce of the limiter in a properly limited S14 all day long without it crapping out an arm.

what is the point of it if its just to limit revs surely you be more careful with your foot?

when you\'re flying around the streets of Tokyo sideways it stops you over-revving as you pull the handbrake up and put the clutch in.

as said above, they\'re pretty rubbish and you\'re better off getting a proper limiter. i know some MSD ignitions come with an ignition cut so that the car just dumps fuel and you still get to make fire and look cool.

sounds bad - I know the racelogic ones actually cut complete injector cycles - so in theory you don\'t run lean ever - just run \'air\' - except there is always some fuel deposited in the inlet runner that makes it\'s way in - but not sufficient to cause a big apex seal killing bang.

But there are definitely better ways than mucking with CAS signals to limit rev\'s.

Gotta love these add in\'s :D

sorry for the hijack but what would you say is the most ideal rev limiter for these engines? now iv started drifting, its another one of these questions thats on my mind too
