Title: Car Covers
Post by: Morrmat on July 24, 2010, 04:00:23 PM
I don\'t use my RX7 alot, and am getting fed up of having to clean it every weekend due to tree sap, dirt from the sea and bird crap!

I want to get a cover for it, but I have heard stories about people buying cheap ones from halfords that don\'t allow the "car to breathe" and ruining the paintwork!

Has anyone on here brought a cover? If so where from and how much?

Oh, it\'s for an FD :)

As soon as my bonnet is painted you can have mine. I brought one from argos for £10 and lasted about a month! I then paid £160 for one from www.carcovers.eu (http://www.carcovers.eu) I used it because we turned the garage in to a workshop whilst we rebuilt the motor between 08-09. We had some pretty bad weather last year and the cover did its job.

Its proper heavy duty with quick release buckles and a soft material to ensure it don`t get scratched.
The reason i wanna get rid of it is because it don`t fit anymore! It will fit a standard fd (standard bumpers, wing etc), but anything with big bumpers and wings and you might need something bigger.
