can some one give me a clue to what\'s the best oil to use in an FD and quantity.
Is there a procedure for filling back up again I should know about?

Cheers

Depending who you speak to either mineral or semi-synthetic.

Mazda have stated mineral only in all rotaries now so read into that what you will.

The majority on here use Castrol GTX 10W/40, but although its been discontinued you can still pick it up readily.

If memory serves, FD capacity is around 6L or so. I\'ve found when changing oil that a big container (4L) + a little one (1L) takes me to around 3/4 of full on dipstick.

Apart from that, there\'s no filling procedure - just the same as any other car!!

You\'ll find you\'ll need to top up fairly often depending on how you drive. I\'m roughly a litre every 500-700miles but just check the dipstick weekly and top up as required!!
