just wondered how the two work together (if they do at all?) Does the boost settings in the pfc become redundant, or does the AVC adjust it automatically when needed, like for scramble boost, etc...
Just trying to get me head round it, oh and are they as easy to install as the ecu is?:)
You can use the AVCr, it is seperate from the PFC, and it has more features than the PFC boost control. If you use it this way you will still have to set the settings in the pfc higher than you intend to boost or you will hit boost cut. You can also just buy the AVCr solenoid and use it with the PFC to control boost for a single turbo car. I have used the PFC with the stock boost control solenoids to control boost on a stock twin car with no probs, though others have had some trouble. I personally use the the PFC to control boost with the AVCr solenoid plugged into the stock wiring. This has worked very well for me and I get very steady consistent boost.
