Post by: stocky on July 21, 2010, 11:05:31 PM
Does any body know if there is an off the shelf kit for the feed and drain pipe for a single turbo or if not what fittings and rough length of hose needed also what size is the restrictor pill for the feed pipe
thanks

It totally depends on teh turbo and manifold setup dude. The only really way to find out if you\'re not using an off the shelf kit is to mock it up.

Are you using a BB core turbo? If not, you don\'t need a restrictor. If you are, then there are complex sums to work out exactly what you need apparently. I just used one of these though: http://www.gb-ent.com/store/turbos-and-accessories/turbo-fitting-parts/oil-feed-restrictor-for-gt-turbos-%114an.html
Obviously, if you are using a -3 feed, you need the -3 one.
The same plae also sells ready made feed lines, but you will need to work out how long you need it.

Same goes for the drain. Although tbh, I used the stock drain tubes, cut them about a bit, then joined with some hi temp hose from Pirtek.
