ive always owned fd3`s. had 4 of them and just selling the last one . i spotted a gen one in my city for sale. so thought i`d take a look. on a Y plate. red with glass roof. got a bit of rust bubble but its a toy.
engine is coming out. its done `133k miles so a refresh and a full bridge i feel is required.. im not a full member and i cant post pics up!?!

look on page 17 of the \'how many 1st gens still running thread\' and it\'ll tell you how to do it. Piece of cake!

im pretty green to the whole fb scene. . brought it totally on a wim. thinking of just going full bridge with the required mods to suit. i am going to buy a 450hp fd still when a decent one comes avaialble that ticks the boxs. in the mean time i need something to fill the rotary gap :-) and .
how easy is it to turbo the 12a? IF big IF i decided to .

hmmm its ok not amazing nick. it was originally grey from looking around it. shame its had colour swap. bit of bubbling on archs but nothing major.

Yeah they are fun even in standard form, I was only jesting about the FD but I\'d love to combine the two one day and have a 13b-REW in my FB.

Haha, you need to check out the american forum mate there is a massive gen 1 community on there with a few REW FB\'s floating around. 400BHP FB\'s look like a lotta fun.

Yeah whats really in at the moment is removing the moonroof and replacing it with a random colour steel jobby-which is handy as I have a gold one that would really complement your red.;):Giggle

Welcome to the club - the best one around. You couldn\'t have chosen a better model to be seen in - far nicer than the FC & FD.If you\'re not keen on the moonroof I\'ll take it off you hands for a good price. Cliff
lol im getting the impression the glass roof is a nice feature. im sending it striaght to garage for them to do a proper check over it. replacing any hoses etc that look suspect. its first trip will be rotorstock yay :-)

where do i find these arch extensions etc please :-)
They are 240z extensions from memory-there are usually universal JDM arches on ebay which do fit with a bit of tweaking but I can\'t find any on there at the moment,although I only had a quick look there may be some hidden somewhere.

I think it\'s disgraceful how you are all trying to land our newest 1st gen owner with a mutitude of different colour roof panels for his car which will clearly clash with the red coachwork.
I, however, have a lovely black roof panel which will look a treat on this red car and compliment it perfectly!
