Title: Taxed - MOT\'d - Insured and on the road
Post by: johnf on July 03, 2010, 07:05:04 PM
Well it\'s taken since last Oct. but I\'m finally driving the T11.

Not sorted as I still have no turbo and it\'s very loud, feel a bit like a \'baryboy\' all show and no go.

Couple of things.

I guess as the indicator lever comes out of the dash they\'re not meant to self cancel.

Also If I turn the key to the first position, before the engine turns over and have my hand an the gear shift there is a very small rapid vibration, it that normal?

Looks like it\'s a trip to Mr Hayward to see if he can sort the turbo out.

Hi John,

The Indicators do self cancel.  The indicator switch has a motor in it to \'cancel\' the switch, it gets it\'s signal from a sensor in the steering colum - just behind the steering wheel - it\'s quite easy to dislodge this if you take the wheel off, then it won\'t cancel.  It\'s a sort of plastic piece - with the wheel all square - line up the arrow on the cancel sensor with the mark on the shroud.
