Title: 93-95 master bearings
Post by: Wav on May 21, 2004, 03:30:56 PM
Hi Guys,

I\'m ordering a Master rebuild kit from rotary aviation to rebuild my friends rotary. But Laura has told me that they are awaiting for 93-95 master bearings and mazda have told her that they won\'t arrive until 6th June the earliest:(. But she will send the kit without if I so desired.

So is there anywhere in the Uk that have them in stock? and how much would they be for a set? She is reducing the package price by only $28, does that sounds right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I just want to get stuck into rebuilding this old block after all the hassle we\'ve had  regarding the DSR rebuilt engine Faheem ordered from America which simply never arrived:rolleyes::mad:

Cheers, Paul

What\'s a master bearing?

Is that the main bearing inside the rotor which fits on the eccentric shaft?

na...  the bearings are the ones that are like washes...near the eccentric shaft bolt...if you get what i mean....hard to explain.  Think there are about 2 or three of them.  Yours maybe alright, it\'s just the monster kit does come with them....most rebuild kits dont....it\'s like the chain, yours maybe fine but the kit does come with a new one.

Cheers

Ah, now I understand.

Found them, NF01-11-D54, 2 required, a whole 2.41 each.

Catalog describes them as needle bearings.

Cheers,
