Here\'s my sad story,i brought my 3rd generation rx7 and only driven it 3 times lol,its been sat in the garage since febuary,i brought her and when i got her backhome she had no rad fluid and the battery died on me,so i took advantage of this and did quite a few things to my car,ive replaced all silicone hosing,ive had a new radiator and intercooler,ive put apexi air filters on,ive changed the brakes lines,pads,discs and fluid,new hks bov ive polished a few bits and bobs here and there,thats about all ive done to it.
Now my problem is i finally went to start her up today and when i did she reved straight up to 3000rpm and stayed there,i thought it was because of not being used for so long,but i left it for about 5mins checking fluids etc etc,and still no change,its made me angry as i was almost there to drive her,now iam gutted lol,
Can anybody please help would be very much appreciated

Sounds like a major airleak,it could be a pipe off somehwere after the throttle,check the pipe that goes to the brake servo is on.

yeah that seems to be on,could it possibly be the throttle it is a bit lose
Carefully check any thing you may have disturbed while you were fitting these extra parts because as said above this sounds like an air leak possibly from where you fitted your dump valve
ok i will double check around the blow off valce tommorow and update possible video
