I have a 1994 FD and i have noticed it has two oil coilers so does this make the car a type R? and does this mean its any better than the others, i only ask as im thinking of selling it soon and want to sell it correctly not to misslead any one. thanks in advance
Easiest way to check is to look at the sticker in the driver door shut/sill.... if it\'s still there. But seeing as it\'s got twin oil coolers then yes it\'s more than likely to be a R

And tbh, there\'s nothing particularly special about the type R if it is. People see it and think \'fast\' Honda, and then assume it\'s the same, it\'s not really.
There are something like 15 different models of FD, and most of them are just different colour/trim combos (a Mazda special, check out the \'special editions\' on Eunos Roadster\'s, there\'s billions!). The only ones that are really a bit more \'special\' in terms of what they come with are the RZ, RSR, and Spirit x - although I\'ve probably forgotten a couple.
thanks so much thats realy heplfull
