Well I had the old girl MOT\'d today..........
And she passed with flying colours!:Party:Party:Party:rollin:3gears-lh:D:Tongue1:guinness:Thumbsup!:driving:driving:driving:driving:driving:King:god Well aslong as you don\'t read too much into the adviseries that is! Still its not the end of the world the brake pipes are showing their age and have some corrosion. I\'ll take that for now. It gives me another year to sort them out.
Nice one :cheers:Thumbs-up
:D
That is all!
(the ratio seems pretty good this year, haven\'t seen a single \'it failed, who wants to buy?\' thread!)

So what happened about the ABS then ?

though i htink u\'d better sort out the brake before it completely rusts. its sth that is quite important use lol
Good news, glad to hear it!
your lucky, took me 6 attempts to get my mapper through it\'s first mot, as emmisions where too high, and now running standard ecu, injectors + to4r turbo!!!! Long story! Lol

Well I just put the fuse back in and kept my fingers crossed that the problem didn\'t happen at the test station.

Im gonna sort them out. Its only the ones that go from the body to the calliper so no biggy.
Well its that time of year again. So I thought I\'d get the FC booked in a couple of weeks early for her MOT. That way I could sort any problems that might have occured over the last year. And Guess what, She passed!!!!!!!!!!!! She did however get a few advisories on the general underside with rust. Nothing major however. The MOT guy said it just wants a full wire brush to get rid of the surface rust and maybe a couple of bits sorting so they don\'t get worse. The only other one was the power steering rack boots leaking. Which they have done since I bought the car. I have a spare rack to go in I just haven\'t got round to fitting it yet. All in all Im really happy. Another 12 months for the old girl, Oh yeah. Time to start enjoying her and her new MAP :)
Very good news my good sir!

Nice one - mine must be due soon - must get exhaust (hint for clive ;) ) and get my front balls sorted - ooh err
The implication being you have rear balls too, but they\'re fine? Ooh err!
i put my 94 fd in for its test after been sitting for 6 years and it passed with no advisories
edit- just realised this thread applies to 2nd gen
Great news chap :D
