does anyone know what the biggest sized brake rotor that can fit behind 18 inch alloys on an fd?
Totally depends on the wheel - some have more than others.
Some brakes also require less clearance.
So basically, say what wheels you want to try and what brakes you want to try.
lol, I\'ve got 356mm 8 pot K-sport under 17in Team dynamics Pro-race 1.2. I had to get a custom offset as supplied by Team dynamics but they look fab !

damn there big are those with the standard pads if so are they any good?
They are with standard pads but I\'m using a split bias system without the ABS and Vac Assist. I will probably be going for better pads but have only really just bedded them in and haven\'t fine tuned the bias bar. Plus its now press the pedal as hard as you can till they lock up :Giggle Still getting used to them really.

not sure about an FD but i\'m running K-sport 8 pots with 356 discs on the RX8 with 18x8.5 wheels
as for pads I\'m using Ferodo DS2500

Hi Shaun, what ET are your Pro Race 1.2 that fit over your K-sports 356, i also have the 356 8 pot kit and would love some 17" to go over them.
Also what width are the wheels?
Thanks a lot.
Sam
Just checked my emails from the technical info I got from Rismstock. On those wheels (Prorace 1.2) the fronts are 17x8in et33 to fit those brakes.
Shaun
Just as a disclaimer, that offset may not work with other wheels. The Prorace have huge amounts of space inside them.
Shaun
Thanks buddy, really tempted to order some :chat
How did you work out what ET to get to fit the brakes or was it luck?
Anymore photographs?
Thanks

I emailed the Technical support at rimstock with the caliper drawing and they suggested the offset.
