Title: Commmander Fault Readings
Post by: trotter on June 05, 2010, 11:57:08 AM
Guys / Gals,

Finally got my hands on a commander yesterday and was having a looksee at the sensor / switch readout.

My understanding is that if you check this with heat light ON then the sensors on the left hand side of the screen will be highlighted if there is an issue?

Also, on the list of switches on the right hand side of the display, what is the significance of them being ON or OFF? I know from the manual that black dot means ON and this should indicate whats working at any given moment? Therefore what\'s the significance of the ones which are OFF? Does this just mean that they don\'t happen to be needed at that particular moment?

I also assume by switch, it just refers to electrical switches to turn things on/off?

cheers in advance

graeme

hiya mate. there will usually be about 5 on at all times. if your heat light is on that could be a number of things. when its on go to the sensor check and see if hwl (heat warning lamp) is lit up. could just be that the sensor that sits under the drivers seat has come off the exhaust. this happened to mine and took 10 minutes to sort. theres alot of threads about the dreaded heat light lol so type it in the search forum and it should give you a better understanding!
