Title: standard plugs are RX-7 FD NGK BUR 9EQ but
Post by: michaelb on May 30, 2010, 04:43:54 PM
Hi All

I am just about to do the service on my FD at Powergains Motor Sport and I want to get the sparkplugs and also the air filter…

The standard plugs are RX-7 FD NGK BUR 9EQ but there is also the same plug but slightly better, is it with a letter s somewhere?

Can anyone let me have the exact name?

Many thanks

Regards,

Michaelb

Yeah, the \'p\' stands for platinum.

Been a few discussions on here, with the general outcome being that for the short time they are in the engine for, there\'s no real point in the extra outlay!!

....you are right. plus I want the car to start fine in all wheathers and sometimes the "colder" plugs ( 11" ) may give a tad trouble..
