Hi all, hope everyone is ok-bit out the loop at the moment due to our company doing an install down in sunny falmouth with limited (sod-all) internet access. Missed Brooklands due to said job which was a bummer but really do intend on making rotorstock.
Quick question though....as my year is panning out to be a touch hectic I\'m just going for MOT and smiles rather than take to bits and get depressed I have no time to rebuild soooooooo, Nev needs tyres-anyone know if I can put a 205/60 on an S2 rim as I want to put R888\'s on him just for sh**s and giggles and they don\'t appear to be available in 185/70.
Love always
Tim
Yep ur right it is an easy question, but i don\'t know the answer!
Tyres that size fine on s3 rims, but s2 not sure.
Glad to of been of G8 assistance.:evillaugh
ta stu..
Cheers Stu lol
Answer is : of course you can. The rims are only 0.5 inch narrower (13x5.5 vs 14.6 as far asi can remember but may have made that up) probably not ideal as the rim width will give u less contact patch, but they will physically fit.
The biggest hassle is probably getting hold of them. 20 years ago, 205 x13\'s were all the rage and there were loads available.....
The modern trend is now for larger diameter wheels and most major tyre manufacturers have stopped producing 205 x 13 tyres.
The 2.8i Capri boys have a struggle to get them these days, most are budget tyres.

they should fit i used to run 215/50/13 0n front of my old car no problem even with it lowered and 235/50/13 on the rear same deal no problem the 205/60/13 should be same size roughly as the 215/50/13s the only issue was width any larger in either front or rear would stick out past arch
Nice one cheers Mick

Cheers Mark-I did speak to Pete about these last year but lost his number. Looks like they\'re spoken for now though but will keep one eye on the situation.
