hi can anyone tell me if you can still buy replacement wing mirrors for the 1st gens or is there an after market one available.

I don\'t know if they are still available new but there are plenty of 2nd hand ones about

there are at least 10 1st gens currently being broken for parts in the UK at the moment, many of the details are in other recent threads here.
RHD mirrors won\'t fit LHD cars but Ebay USA currently have plenty for sale....

Ian - I assumed "wing" meant JDM-style mirrors mounted outboard on the front of the fenders - not door-mounts. My NZ and Auz rotorhead friends consider "wing"="fender"= JDM-style. Does this mean something else across the Pond??

yeah Stu that\'s right. Years ago \'wing\' mirrors in the Uk were mounted on the front wings ( or fenders) but they are fitted to the doors these days.... we still refer to them as \'wing mirrors\' though over here!

Is fender a wing or bumper ? ..............or should I just stay on the sidewalk ......
