Title: Magnecor ignition leads
Post by: Efinity on May 26, 2010, 05:19:01 PM
Hi guys

just a quick question about the above product.

Has anyone installed these? If so have you noticed any improvement in starting the car/general running etc.

Also there\'s 2 versions available 8bit 16bit, what is the difference?

Cheers

I got some from MRP, made a HUGE difference as the OEM leads are consumable items, I would defiantly recommend getting a set as the OEM leads are past it by now, you might be amazed at the difference :)

8bit are for UK, 16bit Import, they are almost identical but the 8bit but have a straight cap where it connects to the coils. I have the 16bit KV85\'s, replaced OEM leads as mine where slightly past it. As mitch said your leads probably are to if there the OEM\'s and you might be amazed!
I got mine from here

I am about to order some Magnecor ignition leads, especialy 10mm, but i dont know if i could go with 8 bit or 16 bit ones..you see i have a 93 european fd3s rx7, but the engine, engine harness, under dash harness and ecu (apexi power fc) are of a late spec, 2000 model, so??
also, what is the difference between R-100 and KV85?
thanks in advance!
