Title: Suspension - Choices
Post by: mr_tim on May 19, 2004, 12:37:19 AM
I\'m still finding it difficult to decide on what to go for. I\'m after a daily use fast road setup with occasional track use - hoping to get to the \'Ring at some point.

The choices seem to be

Koni - nice simple setup, good value.

Tein Flex - good adjustability but maybe too much, possibly too harsh on UK roads.

Ohlins - I wish. Heard nothing but good things but know they are very expensive and yet to find a UK supplier.

My HKS are great

When you wind up the dampers they are rock hard.
But still get a bit of body roll.

Just make sure you get harder springs.
Probably more important than harder dampers.

Add some harder Sway bars also.

I\'ll back that up, stronger sway bars make a huge difference for the better!

This is almost a must have for track days.
