Yes after a winter lay up, and the last couple of months on the ramps with all the suspension off so everything could be renewed and updated, todays sunshine was a great day to take her out.:driving
I was pleased with the differance a new set of bushes had made to the handling, so it was time to take her back and wrap her up in garage, but at the last roundabout I pulled up behind another car, about one length back when the car in front started to roll back, I tooted the hooter, and he came back faster and smacked my old gal right on the number plate :2eek.
With that he gets out and accuses me of running in the back of him (....er), at that point I noticed he was spaced out (....ed out of his brain).
But like all these things never enough damage for an insurance claim or to get plod invoved, all he had done on the face of it was he had smashed my number plate surround (uk one) So anyone out there have a uk spec one laying around????
Piffed off Laurenzo
i wouldnt of cared if he just smashed the plate holder! i would of called the police there and then! your gonna be out of pocket buying a new holder when it should be him!
specialy with him driving under the influence! the police would have had a field day with him..... also he could have previous (as most of the time people like this do) have no insurance & no driving licence through being banned! people like this should be punnished! but then in the UK all they get is a nice warm place to get free qualifications & better food than some of us get!

Mate, PHONE YOUR INSURANCE NOW AND LET THEM KNOW ABOUT IT.
Seriously, When i was a young-un a taxi in front at some lights handbrake snapped and he rolled back and hit me. Didnt really cause any damage we both made peace and went about our ways two weeks later my insurance phoned me and said i hit the rear of a taxi and as i failed to inform them i lost any rights whatsoever.
He absolutey creamed me for whiplash, back bumper the lot.
he didnt get away with it without any comebacks tho!!!

Damn it!!! and there I was having a nice weekend! well there was no way he got my number, it was inbedded in the rear of his Astra!
Normally I would have decked him, but I am on strike two at the moment and so I just had to sit there and bite my tounge. ( happy days)
The only reason I am not running to the insurance company is that my car has a clean history and i would like to keep it that way, but thanks for the heads up anyway.

A Friend of my dad got mistakenly arrested and spent the night in the local nick (Hounslow) and got his dinner delivered and wrapped up from the local branch of sheraton hotel (Heathrow) he then slept on a matress what he thought was like memory foam. They let him go the next day.
