Title: European Driving - kph
Post by: mr_tim on May 17, 2004, 11:29:10 PM
I\'m hoping to take my car the the land of well surfaced open roads later in the year. What do you guys do with regard to kph.

My speedo, as with most other converted JDM ones, only shows mph.

Thanks

100Kmph = 60mph+ ish
50Kmph = 30mph+ ish
75Kmph = 50mph - ish

Easy

150 MPH = 240 KMH :rolleyes:

more seriously, 120 kmh ~= 85 MPH (if you\'re in France)

Typo Gary?  120 kph = 74.5643262 mph

Iain

Edit: On re-reading it it could be humor too :)

Is it not a legal requirement to have a speed read out in kph?

No it´s not, mate. Come over to Germany, and have a go at your top speed ...legally. Then get overtaken by a bastid Audi.
