Title: HKS FconV Pro ECU- Software available, or mappable, in the UK?

As title really.
My FC has this fitted, but it seems its not something thats used often/ever on rotaries in the UK, which is far from ideal.
 
Is it possible to get hold of the software etc to make changes to this ECU? And/or is there anyone in the UK that can map this ECU?

REWorx are the only offical HKS F-Con tuners that specalise in rotaries.  It will need to be the Gold version of the ECU Version 3.1 onwards.
 
There are some people about with rip off copies of the software, but having seen how some of them work I would run a mile!
 
Just take it to REWorx :)

Ah ok. How do I tell if its that version? Its it written on the ECU? And its its not Gold 3.1 on im screwed then?
 
Still a real pain not having the software, as while id not want to map anything myself, im always making tweaks to the car and when they are a few hours drive away it would mean the only changes that could be made before went there was stuff that left it drivable on the old map, so no injector changes etc- pain really. :(

The ECU will need to be Gold in colour, not Silver.  
 
You can tell the software version by a small coloured dot sticker on the ECU, if it has a blue dot then its Version 3.1, red dot version 3.2 software etc.  
 
If yours is the old Silver ECU then im pretty sure Reworx wont be able to modify it.

Pretty sure its silver, can only see the little bit where the lights and plugs are at the mo, need to remove it to see the rest, but that bit is silver, so... :(

only hks pro writers (dealers) have access to tune it correctly and the only rotary shop in the uk is reworx.

you can get pretty good copys of the software but you have to be able to read japanese ;)

That BC tuning link doesnt work, and I wont go near TDI.
 
Will they all have the same issue of needing Gold 3.1 onwards?
