Title: Under seat wiring
Post by: eyedee on May 17, 2004, 03:16:43 PM
Hi,
Can anyone fill me in on what the wire is for that protrudes from the rear underside of my RX7 passenger seat.  Ive a 3rd Gen 92 Typr-R with cloth trimmed reclining sports seats.  Both seats have lots a wiring under them but I cant work out what its all for?!?
thanks very much

Think its for the seat belt sensor. If you\'re not wearing the seatbelt (naughty people) a little sign flashes on the dash.

Someone on here just put a little black sticker on his dash to resolve this problem however. ;)

Hi Fish,
I dont seem to have a seatbelt light on my dash?  How would the system know you were wearing the belt?  I dont even pass the belts through the holsters on the side of my seats.
Cheers :)
