New boy on the block .............mine got dirty when it rained on the way there, but I must say Dave and his wife are very people, and he does keep his as original as poss. So no hard feelings there.

No probs mate, we can sort you out a nice 1st Gen to buy if you want to come into our forum. And who wouldn\'t?
You\'ve got the Reg No there in your sig for a 1st Gen......
some nice pics shame i couldnt make it, there seems to be a lot more 1st gens about this year, hopefully i will catch up with you all at the next one ;)
Good to meet everyone today. Dave thanks for the info it was good talking to you, your car is certainly a credit to you. I was also surprised to get best FB and as far as I remember that is only the 2nd time in 16 years of attending rx-7 and mazdarotary events, it could easily of gone to anyone of 3 or 4 cars which are obviously well cared for.
Dave
Congrats on ur win dave.
How\'s ur GT40 replica going?
Dibs....just noticed youve got a moonroof, did it come with the car decades ago?
ta stu..
I got my moonroof back in the late 80\'s out of Loot ..............wonder if Loot is still about or has ebay done away with it.
Dunno about loot, think exchange & marts gone?
I\'ll let u into an unknown secret, after years of intensive research it\'s been found having a moonroof on a 1st gen leads to the fabric disintegration on the seats, due to sun damage, help yourself & sell it to me!
ta stu..
Nice try .................but I will now get me garage roof fixed
nice pictures, wish I could have made it. The cars all look good, love that Elford turbo.
Ian there was also a very nice S2 Elford in silver, but for some reason I did\'nt get a photo of it.

I\'ve always fancied an Elford turbo, love the look with the spoilers (which is unusual for me as I don\'t normally like bodykits on cars), plus they go well don\'t they.
Your car looks gorgeous in those pictures Dibs, a real credit to you keeping it that nice ( and getting it back on the road despite a few setbacks)
Gotta ditch that aerial though!
Quote from: myatt1972;689697Did you just say you loved a GREEN car !!!
I\'d have to respray it obviously!!
Seriously, my views on green cars are well known but I\'ve seen quite a few pictures of that particular car and I do think the colour suits the bodykit, it shows off it\'s clean lines ( helped too by the fact that the car is a minter and looked after.
Having said all that, as much as I\'d love an Elford, I couldn\'t live with a green car.
Need an Elford ebay project car to transfer all the bits off onto my black car!

That\'ll be this one then...

GT40 replica going slowly at present, just in process of arranging for a company to finish it off and get it through IVA. I hope to have on the road for shakedown by end of August and then get completed over winter for full use from next year.
I was thinking of selling the FB to make some more garage space but after the great run up to Brooklands yesterday Sally said I need to keep it as it is still fun to go out in.
Dave
Hi Dave just think of it this way, you will be able to get in and out of the FB a lot longer than the GT40 .................
But it does look very nice.
Wow that looks like a serious bit of kit, very nice.
Keith..
very very nice Dave, hope you will be giving rides in this? firdt dibs! ;)
will it be on a q plate?
