I used wire brush and primer (obviously) then chrome spray paint which you can get from accessory shops. Results were great.

that\'s exactly what I was thinking of doing.
I wondered if I could save myself the effort though
i cleaned mine up they came up fine its just tho chrome that makes them look worse, think mine went back on yellow?
