Wide 13" tyres are a struggle to get hold of. The fashion is for larger diameter wheels these days.

it\'s all good keith driving a series 1 with those exact wheels on some 15 or so years ago i remember how forcefull you had to be, and by god did it stick to the road a porche will have trouble keeping with you on tight windies.
i may be older and while i\'ve not trained seriously for 3 years i\'m a hell of a lot stronger than i used to be

I like it! As Keith says though, you\'ll need arms like Popeye to park it.

3 years ago i could bench press 160 kilo\'s (now might struggle at 120kg\'s i think) and dead lift 310kg\'s so no drama there will keep my forarms in decent shape.. wish the rest of me didn\'t look so bad thou LOL
should never of given up training!

I haven\'t but if it\'s as good as the rust prev paint, I imagine it\'ll do the trick
Aradite is my usual way of repairing them though.
I\'d be very interested Mick if it doesn\'t look like my old tank! thanks!
Just a thought, when did they change the size of the tanks?
was it btw series 1 to series 2?
or
series 2 to series 3?

not too low these ones are the 1 1/2\' lowering ones not the superlow 2 inch ones.
will proberlly put these on the silver series 2 along with the wheels and tryes.
now have to find another set of chrome modgies 13 x7 4 x 114.3 and more eagers for my project build. for the project build it\'ll be super lows 2 inch drop.
and not to mention i\'m going to need some elford sonic\'s for a series 1 i think very soon.
cheers
mick

back in February AR on the forum was selling his series 2 for £400 and included with the sale was a set of polished Elford sonics..... very nice they looked too.
He\'s now keeping the car but might be worth checking if he\'ll  do a deal for the wheels...
