Title: How much for 350bhp
Post by: Tobys1 on April 19, 2010, 03:15:55 PM
I\'m in the market for an RX7, i want a modified one as its 99% of the time cheaper in the long run however i have seen a std REX that fits the bill.

My question is how much for about 80-100bhp?

would it be best to go single i certainly dont want anymore than 400bhp!

What would be required and cost to get the standrad twins to about 350bhp (atf)

Thanks in advance all!

Would a FPR and bigger injectors be necessary?
What kind of boost would be needed to reach this figure on;
a) standard ports?
b) street port?
Cheers

yip forgot to add better fuel pump and FPR =  250
You can get 330-350 at the fly at 1 BAR if the twins are in good nick on stock ports

Its not too hard to get more power from a rotary, my FC is running 50% above stock with a few bolt ons :) if you do want to get into tuning it, make sure you do everything properly and research into it :) its best to buy good quality parts, if you buy cheaper parts they might fail costing you an engine, which is why getting it right first time is more cost effective!
