Title: Tein super streets or flex
Post by: Red Leader on April 10, 2010, 09:22:42 PM
I need a new set of shocks and want to by new. I\'ve been looking at Tein super streets and tein flex.

I\'m happy for the ride to be a little firmer and lower but not much.

Can any one point me towards one of the above. Also when there fitted does the car need seting up in any way. If so how is this done.

You\'ll need 4 wheel alignment done if you change your shocks and the ride height is lower.

On Flex, the ride height is variable, so can have what you want, on Super Street (So I was told by somewho had) they are height variable in stages, i.e 10mm each time or somehthing like that

I had Tein Flex, handled amazingly....but found the ride very hard! But then I dont do track days or anything like that

just on a threaded collar so you can set the ride height to what ever small adjustment you want, but it affects spring pretension and also they dont go massively low neither
