plans are to find some man spec wheels and coilovers and drop it on its arse. going to be my daily drifter.

even came with a rather pimp plate (which i may put up for sale not sure yet)

anyone cheap on here for removing and welding fc diffs get in touch!

Dude, have you got a spare S13 splitter lying around you want to \'give\' to me? :D

Looking good there mate, good buy! I guess you\'ve been reading Phils thread on DW about his - loads of tips about getting good lock etc on there, and I have some stuff bookmarked.

The diffs are a PITA to do, here\'s a walkthrough:
Undo driveshaft and propshaft bolts
Remove exhaust y-pipe back
Undo subframe bolts, including the one for the long bar that supports the entire on the left side
Undo diff mounts, support diff, gently lower off.

You can do it without dropping the subframe but it\'ll take twice as long, literally! A real arse of a job...

Is that a pre-facelift s13 front splitter??

it is mate. fits perfectly.

updates, ive hit it with the lowering stick, however i have massive gay balloon spec tyres so cant go any lower yet : (

and not going to be running those rims, got some proper man size work meisters coming for it, then ill get it lower and get the fitment sorted.

doesnt look too bad as it is so far:

Maybe about half that. But then again I am a 2nd gen bargin hunter! TBH though I should probably be spending my money on getting the car track ready. So I may have to pass whatever.

progress has been very slow as it is near on impossible to find fc parts in the uk! however now got most of what i need on its way.

half cage, decent seats, exhaust and a few other bits

need some jap spec rear lights though. and to get the diff welded and some bracing welded in to stiffen it up. thought the HSDS have helped a lot

also contemplating some rear aero.

Loving the wheels mate. Car is looking good

looking good mate, also keep your eyes open for a FCD (fuel cut defender), with the free flowing exhaust you\'ll more than likely reach the boost cut and you dont want to stop injecting fuel during full throttle-high boost!

A chipped ecu or something like a power fc would be better in an ideal world...

If you haven\'t read this already, consider it essential reading for an FC owner! http://fc3spro.com/TECH/FM2W/power.htm

edit. looking back over it, its not gospel,
e.g. you don\'t need to port the wastegate with cat back exhaust, a cdi box isn\'t needed for \'stage 2\' mods (just make sure you change the plugs frequently, 4-5k), an electric fan isn\'t necessary - a correctly working clutch fan and standard shroud is far superior in my exp., and an apexi AFC fuel computer is just a bit dated and wont make much difference.
The rest of it is sound advice and rewiring the pump is DEFINATELY a good idea.

Oh and this is one of the FCD badboys you want, found on yank ebay;

Looks awesome dude, good work!

I just skipped getting an FCD personally and got an ECU - which Liam on this forum got for me at a reasonable price, worth it if you\'re doing other mods too IMO!
