Title: headlights
Post by: slater1982 on April 07, 2010, 05:17:43 PM
Ok people,

I know ive not had it long, so really shouldnt be saying bad things already, but the standard headlights are really cack!

Have seen ppl on about hid light conversions on here, although i know nothing about them, are they mot legal, easy to fit, and will they go in the pop up light units, cos i really like them, dont wanna be changing for non-pop up jobbies!

Or are simply uprated xenon bulbs ok? had a pair of these in the GT4 i used to own, some of the "up to 90% brighter" jobbies from halfords and they were ok, but dont know if they will be too hot for the plastic light lenses maybe (have had this mentioned by a mate or is he chattin s*$t) ?

cheers guys

Andy

Don\'t worry the stock lights are a big pile of poop. You can try the HID kits but make sure you set them up properly so as not to blind people. I\'ve managed to get in a US bulk buy of some proper projectors :)

You can also get clear lenses which would help as well.

Check out Clive @ mazdarotaryparts.com. he\'s got a tasty HID kit for the pop-ups for £150 or so IIRC :)
