Do you guys think it is ok to run \'RX-7 FD NGK BUR 9EQ SPARK PLUGS\' on a 356 HP FD3S...
I cannot fork out £35.00 per plug for NGK 10\'s :2eek
Thanks,
What boost are you running, are u stiil on twins?
B9egv, B10egv ;)
0.8 Bar of boost and a GT35R Single Turbo.
:xconfused
try the plugs i have listed above, they are the same as the racing plugs but for motorbikes so are ALOT cheaper, only problem is the nut is slightly bigger so its very hard to get a socket in to do them up/undo them, i had to grind down a socket to get it in. I was happily running these on a t04r with over 400bhp

Might just do that :)
This may sound really dumb, but do i use 2 of the B9EGV and 2 of B10EGV. Or 4 of the ones i want, i dont have much knowledge regarding ignition systems :2Rolleyes
i was running 2 9\'s and 2 10\'s and worked fine for me, if you have a tuner who does most the work on your car best to check with them, by the way i get mine from //www.sparkplugs.co.uk if you put the part number in the search box will find them , i think they are £7 + vat or summit like that
At 0.8 BAR on a GT35R 4 stock NGK BUR9EQ will do
If you go with 9s, BUR9EQPs (Platinum) are supposed to last longer than BUR9EQs.
Kevin
9s fine, i run 420hp ish at 1 bar and no probs
Has anyone come across BUR9EQT? Currently running these.
How would EQT work the Q means it has 4 electrodes and T means it has 3 electrodes?
9 heat range is fine at your power levels, just as long as you\'re not doing any top speed pulls.. Heat range is dependent upon driving style too, not just power.
