Hey guys anyone know a decent place to get the above?
Would like braided lines if there are any. Front end bushings are perished. And I don\'t trust 10 year old tyres: -)
Thanks
Ross
We can do some of these parts for you. Need to check which bushings you want...but can get those for you too.
Ah Ah, Brake lines.....Why do all kits for braided lines specify 4 lines when there are 5 in total? I didn\'t think that was good enough so had all 5 made to pattens by Stevsons in Birmingham (address near Aston Expressway). They were 1). Expensive at about £90, 2). Not quite right in places...I had to do a bit of shaping and filing at the fittings...3). Fine and dandy once sorted. So I think you either get an ebay kit for half that money and take a chance with the 5th line or find a similar bespoke maker. Stevson would poss still have patterns.
Also Atomic Rex above might have better ideas?
Bushings....No info, not done mine.
Tyres....Hard to find for Series 3 (odd size) but yours is Series 2 Ross? so should be easier. 10 years is about the top road going limit, let alone if the car\'s been stood on \'em.
@Atomixrex. basically arb to lower arm bushes are perished, Are theyre poly bushes available? and if so at what cost?
could you give me some rough pricing on braided/non braided flexi brake line and poly\'s if available?
@David. I just need the flexi lines from the end of the hard lines to the caliper. The tyres were flat and it appears ones been rant flat as its got a buldged sidewall.
Thanks
Ross
Yes, the flexes are the lines I mean.....I sent a set of old ones down and Stevson made me 5 new braided lines with a poly outer sheath. The 5th line is the one from chassis to back axle. The front lines are a double set up with a suspension leg clip in the middle. You have to have these clips for the MOT. (One member with an FC or FD failed for having a tiewrap at this point).
Tyres are deffo ready for off the car then.
I got mine made up by Goodridge, sent them photos and dims and details of ends, and they fitted perfect, but did cost £90 for all five, if you want details of contact I still have it, and they did say at the time they would keep my info on file.
Also you at can still get the originals from Mazda, but I think they about £70 a set of 5.
Good Luck
Dibs

I checked Mazda first Dibs but didn\'t get satisfactory results. Don\'t remember why. Not all 5 lines present in the kit I think.
My contact at Mazda had to get them from Belgian, I did order them and have them as spares, also used them for my pics to send to Goodridge. I have the part nos if you are interested.
dang..... i thought it would be like £5 a corner for the standard hosing and maybe £15 for braided.... my guestimations were way off. oh well whatever it takes to get her back on the road.

If you are able to drop down to me the poly bushes...I will get some made for you. Doubt they will cost much more than £20 a piece.
As for the lines: We also make up Goodridge hoses. the best thing to do is send down to me the lines you currently have, and I will send you back some shiney new braided lines. :)
My email address is below if you want to chat further

You\'re guessing fine for the ebay kits. I think they\'re about £45/£50 for the kits of braided lines x4.....it\'s getting a kit with that elusive 5th line is the problem.
These have got the body to axle flexible
