Is that not the simplified non-sequential mod?

Robinette site is great for info

I have just had a go at replacing some of the hoses in my rats nest, be very careful when putting the hoses off some of the plastic nipples on the solenoids as some are very brittle and where the hoses have gone hard they are very hard to pull off, twist them first to break the seal then should come off easier

Before you go ahead and start fiddling under there, what is it you actually want to achieve? Are you wanting to make your turbo\'s run non-sequential (i.e. both turbos spool together rather than one coming in before the other)?  Or do you just want to remove the air pump, double throttle, AWS solenoids?

That diagram above also has no vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator, so I assume its for people who have installed an aftermarket FPR.

i like to keep the twins as they are and i want to remove the air pump, double throttle but what is the aws solenoids as for the FPR would a apexi pfc have it bilt in?

Ok mate, you need to do quite a bit more reading before you remove anything I think!  Don\'t go removing stuff for the sake of it.

Apexi PowerFC is a ECU, it\'s a computer. A Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) is a mechanical device that controls fuel pressure in reponse to vacuum/boost conditions, so no, the Apexi does not have one built in.

That diagram above is for sequential twins but as Aubec pointed out the hose to the fuel pressure regulator is missing in the pic so you would need to replace the old hose. AWS is only fitted on UK cars so if its a import your car won\'t have it.
You can only do the simplified rats nest if you have got rid of the airpump and the cat, and really an ECU such as a PFC.

I found they broke unless I heated the hose with a lighter first.

Which one did you break?  I have three that I removed when I was doing mine, all three are intact and work fine

help needed as im not sure on what to do in the pic where the pressure chamber is near the lim  the hose that has the check valve connecting to the lim now out of the four pipe comming out of the lim witch one is the egr as i only have three pipes comming out of my lim do i need the pressure chamber or not???

You dont have an EGR, thats only on Californian spec, pre-95 cars.  As per my earlier post, make sure you have kept the vac line that goes to the FPR as the diagram above does not show it.

You do need the pressure chamber, so one of your vac lines with a check valve needs to go to it.

I\'d just leave it where it was to start with!

When I stripped out ACV, double throttle and AWS off mine a couple of weeks ago only removed the solenoids and vac pipes that were no longer connected to anything. That left me with two nipples to blank off on the UIM (which I joined together witha short length of vac pipe) and some unused hard pipes in the rats nest.  Job done, no need for confusing diagrams drawn for US cars that didn\'t match my rats nest!

Those three pipes your talking about go straight through the UIM and not inside it., dont use them for the pressure chamber just use any one that is after the throttle body.

you mean the three vertical ones? That\'s the LIM :)

there\'s a yellow hose on the Y-Pipe that seems to go nowhere (it actually connects to the UIM). connect your pressure chamber check valve to that.

use a stanley knife to get difficult hoses off; make a cut along the length of the pipe and gently split it open with an electrician\'s screwdriver. if you break any solenoids keep the nipples, i managed to fix one with some carefully applied Araldite :)

also, the stock FPR connects to a small nipple on the block side of the UIM, via a solenoid. ditch the solenoid and plug it straight in, it\'s the lowest down nipple that sticks out horizontally. it\'s a pain in the arse to get to with the primary fuel rail in place.
