Post by: brundish24 on April 01, 2010, 06:22:07 PM
i will be needing a map soon after i fitted my apexi and was wondering if i can run the base map on it mod are:

de-cat, blitz nur spec back box, apexi twin air filters, no air pump, no dubble throttle, and maybe if i got the balls to do it a simplifed rats nest.

also i like to know where is the nearest place i can get it mapped i live in suffolk.

it will be ok on 100 mile as long as you drive gently you defo need map coz you have free flowing exhaust and will prob over boost and cause engine issues

Try JayDee in london as well dude, mu closer.

There are instructions in the manual about the learn process - IIRC it\' 3 stages, and for one of them I\'m pretty sure you baically need eveything electrical on. I\'m sure I remember that from when I was idling in a layby for half an hour anyways.

Take it to haywards rotary every time that I have been there I have been treated well. Those guys there are full of knowledge and know what they are talking about! You may want to look in to the non Sequential conversion. It make your twin turbo run like a single, making it more predictable when the power is going to come in. I had it on mine before I went bridge port with a single turbo.
