Just finished reading the wonderfull How To Change an FD Clutch, and a few comments about needeing a second pair of hands.
I know my way around a normal engine, and most bits and bobs, just completly new to rotary\'s but as im gonna be gettign one as soon as my S sells, im keen to learn.
Im based in Surrey SW of London, so if any of you guys need a set of hands for some of you DIY feel free to give me a shout, I also make a cracking cuppa :D
Always nice to lend a hand, as you never know when your gonna need a pair yourself, and also im sure ill pick a few things up on the way :D
This is something I 1st did on the MR2 owners club, and I learnt more about cars that summer than Ive ever learnt about anything ever :D
Im also 6\'5 so my speciality is standing under a ramp with an exhaust on my shoulder and my head on a drive shaft drinking tea :P

Feel free to pop along and say "Hi!"... I\'m sure if you volunteer your ample "standing around drinking tea" skills :guinness, you will, for sure, have some takers :)
DrDan [aka DrStock]
DrDan - thanks for the info, however I will hold off on confirming for now, as I may well be moving to kent in the next few weeks.
However if I am still around the area at the time, I will definatly stop in for a chat.
Any information on meets around the Kent Maidstone area :D
Sounds perfect!

You were very helpful when taking out the engine, you arent tea boy.
how do you live with a FD?
i\'m 6\'3 only briefly sat in a FD (sad i know!) i cope ok in my FB set back and down although i have to tilt the sunroof when wearing a skid lid!

I\'m 6\'3" too and manage ok. Just got myself a smaller steering wheel and have the seat all the way back. Left hip does get a bit knackered on a long drive though.
Adam
To be honest, its no worse than a lot of cars out there, you can adjst the framing for the seats if its really an issue im sure.
