anyone know who makes longer studs for the FD as i want to run some 10mm spacers ( with my et12 wheel :D ), and my stock studs are too short!
thanks
steven
Clive mazdarotaryparts will sort you out for sure.
thanks mate!
Warning: Rear is an UTTER ballache :(
What, to get ther studs out?
can you not use some hubcentric spacers? rather than extending the studs?
DM MOTORSPORT\'s Sell good quality cheap spaces on here!
Not really bud, a M12x1.5 stud/nut requires a min of 6 turns and the stock studs with 10mm spacers only turns 3 times, so the nuts hardley go on!
Bolt on\'s are no good for 10mm unfortunately Nuki - the original studs stick otu too far, you\'d have to chop them right down :( And as above, not a chance of getting them on on stock studs with slip ons.
Envy: Swapping front studs is fine, but on the rear you have to completely disassemble the hub (unless someone\'s found another way) including pressing off the ABS ring and removing the bearing (which means fitting a new one) IIRC.
20mm spacers with super stretched tyres ;P
si is correct, ballache

think this is what your after.
I\'m going to have exatly the same issue as you Envy.
I\'m about to mount 9.5 et25 on the rear with a 235, and a rolled lip - you could fit a bus between arch lip and wheel. I can\'t wear that, I\'ve got a reputation to uphold. It needs about 15mm of spacer, but no real way to do it without stud monkeying :(
I think I\'m going to have to 20mm and try and get a bit more of a flare on the rear, but I don\'t want to change the arch profile :(
