Title: 1 inch Ceramic wool.

I did a test today with ceramic wool rated at 1250c. I run a 35r turbo with hotside, downpipe and mani ceramic coated. My turbo beanie is a T4 so its a bit big so i lined it with 1 inch wool and wrapped my downpipe with it. I took the car for 1 hour drive (no more than 3000rpm) then checked the temps. The turbo beanie was just warm to the touch and the downpipe was very easy to hold your hand on, does anyone else use this stuff.

I think JM Garage has packed my rear mufflers with the stuff :) which is good as not much can withstand the crazy heat of a rotary lol
