Title: Two Km to Mph Converters - Whats the effects ?
Post by: C J R on March 19, 2010, 12:36:04 PM
Odd question I know, but;

My RX had the dual calibrated speedo, Km & Mph and it was reasonably accurate when checked against a stat nav.

Now I\'ve replaced the clocks with a different set which have a Mph converter attached.

I do not know if the original clocks had a converter wired in somewhere in the wiring loom. (ie; its not obvious and not attached to the clocks).

Question - what might the effect be if I now have two converters fitted ?

Thanks
Chris

With two fitted Chris clocks would be well out of calibration. Two converters i\'ve used to good effect are the speedo healer and yellow box converter both are adjustable via dill switches not preset so you can adjust the calibration to get the readings spot on whatever the wheel size fitted. There both bike based systems but work equally well on cars with the benefit of being waterproof as well.
