You will need to trace those wires back to the ECU.  Personally if the wires are brittle I would take the wires back from the injectors and strip them right back to the bulkhead and get new connectors and quality wire. It gets very brittle under there and even though they may look connected, age will have its toll on them. You can do a simple continuity test using a volt meter to ensure the wire is not broken somewhere.  Its usually the first couple of inches from the plug that they go.  Failing this then you need to have a look at the ECU as the signal does come from this.

How are you checking ?
If i remember correctly there should be a permanent earth and a switched live.
You would only see the live when the injector is on.
Correct me if im wrong :D

Well then you need to see if that wire is broken from the plug right up to the ECU. A continuity test will tell you if there is a broken wire or not. You do this for both wires. If this is ok then it may well be the injector.

As Pete says a continuity test will help, however to me this sounds either like the ECU either has a fault or has gone into a limp mode.

Might be an idea to try and get some error codes from the ECU - that way you will know it hasn\'t gone into limp home mode, it might just be the case of a faulty sensor on the OMP or something and the ECU going: EEEK! no oil! that means no revs lol, try and pull some codes off and see what they say :)

Did you drive the car before pulled the ECU codes?

Just change the injector then.  If it was anything more sinister then I would have thought it would have not powered up both the secondaries, just to have the one down seems more like the injector or wiring.
