Anyone else\'s looking to attend this event with MRC?
Tickets have been bought, I am just awaiting the stand passes to be sent to me, but there is nothing stopping you buying them on line via the shop.

Please only purchase them if you intend to park on the MRC stand otherwise the club will look stupid if all the tickets are sold and no cars on the stand.,

At the moment due to real lack of support for this event we will look at canceling it unless anyone purchases tickets.
Stand passes and tickets are ready to send out, please can I request that you only purchase tickets if you are parking on the MRC stand and not on another club stand.

Please remember that Clive and myself attend these events on your behalf, which means we have to give up our time to make sure that we arrive on time and represent MRC on your behalf.
Sorry Lisa i will not be attending this show.
Below you will find a press release fom Santa Pod, however we need to know who is going please so we can review if its worth us going as a club to this event, remembering we put these events on for you guys not us.
We currantly have only 2 tickets purchased and one of those is to park on another stand !!
There is now only 1 and a half weeks left until the booking deadline for JapShow July 2010.
The JapShow, Santa Pod Raceway, Sunday 4th July
The JapShow at Santa Pod Raceway is a highlight of the calendar for any Japanese car fan in the UK. The essential ingredients are this: Japanese cars and a dragstrip to use them on. But there is so much more to this show than just the famous Santa Pod quarter-mile…
• The JapShow has traditionally been held in June, but this year it takes place on the 4th July.
• The HKS Drag Series holds a round at the JapShow, and features the fastest Japanese cars in Europe, including Pro class cars which hit over 170mph in just 7 seconds.
• The track is also open to the public, and anyone with a Japanese vehicle and a driving licence will be able to join the racers on the dragstrip and take part in the Run What Ya Brung Competition
• Club display areas and club camping are available for no extra charge
• There’s a free-to-enter show car paddock with trophies for the top cars
• There’s a handling track, drift track with passenger rides, and stunt shows
• The Mitsubishi Lancer Register are hosting a celebration of the Evo, with a display of every model produced
• Traders, a mobile dyno, bar and catering facilities will all be at the show
• Weekend tickets are available for those who want to camp over before the show and enjoy the Saturday RWYB test day
• Japanese bikes are also welcome at the show and on track
For an all-action Japanese car show, there’s no better place to get your kicks than the JapShow at Santa Pod Raceway.
