As other forums have already started a list of who is attending which event, I thnk as we are hosting a couple of them it would be a good idea to use this thread to only list your name if you are planning to attend the MRC events.

Sorry, I don\'t know the Postcode (if any), but you need to use the \'old\' entrance shown on this Google Map (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=111845641626051519404.000484253b430b0ea1e08&t=h&z=18)

What you don\'t know is that there are approx another 26 cars comng from the RX-8 OC club - this hopefully has go to be our best Brooklands turnout ever! Plus there are people we know that are attending but are not on the fourm.

Before you arrive we will find out where you can put the tow car and trailer safely unload so your out of the way of the public,

As you will find Brooklands are Health & Safety bananas which means only your racer will be allowed in the show area,

You should use the Campbell gate entrance - NOT MB World.

There\'s only way in and out of that area is right past where MRC would be - I don\'t think there\'d be much chance of someone knicking it - they\'d be spotted very quickly. But I\'m sure someone could bring a bike chain and lock for added piece of mind.

My 180bhp westy with no boost and better brakes and handleing than a
boosting in the wet 500bhp FD. Plus I have full harness and roll bar. Shall I bring my helmet just in case:Thumbs-up.
I would take full responsibility if something happened to me but I guess its if something happened to someone else. BOOOOOOOOOOOO motorsport is meant to be dangerous.

Well how much of a doughnut do I feel? I got up, went and fetched the Cosmo, washed & polished off the flies that were still on it from the German Cosmo meet. Filled it with fuel and headed off to Brooklands, ON SATURDAY! It was a fairly last minute decision to go, I had knee surgery 2 weeks ago and am only just allowed to drive again. Because of being off for so long I had lost track of dates and despite it saying on here that Brooklands is the 25th, I had it in my head that that was Saturday! I realised my mistake when pulling up at the gate and seeing a lot of non Mazdas. Unfortunately DJ\'ing till 4AM and house hunting today means coming back today wasn\'t an option :2Rolleyes

Eerm small issue with my tires wich was later clarified and then it was ground clearance which I was not that bothered about. Believe me I would have put on a show. Did you hear me leave the venue:Giggle

Mine wasn\'t up on the banking. It was the blue \'08 RX8 parked just outside the paddock with the Sport pack stripes and wheels

Sad to have missed this all - plan was to be there but things came up that had to take priority..... next year, I\'m in! ;)

So, not to put too much of a sour note on the day, I\'ve heard the MRC might not be in the good books @ Brooklands, due to someone taking it upon themselves to do a burn out / smoke up the rears upon leaving?! :Nono!

Anyone know anything about this?
