Title: Passed MOT !!!!!!
Post by: rxangus on May 12, 2004, 09:06:25 PM
Good news!

Got my \'96 RB through MOT today.

Emissions results were:

Natural Idle
CO 0.01% (max 0.5%)
HC 71 (max 200)

Fast Idle
CO 0.28% (max 0.3%)
HC 119 (max 200)
Lambda 1.03 (limits 0.97-1.03)

This is good news because it means the car can pass the stricter emissions for Aug 95 onwards cars. I didn\'t think it was possible but there you go!!!

They didn\'t measure the engine speed for some reason.....

BTW Stock ECU, cat, induction kit and Jasma Exhaust

Hmmm

How\'s that possible with a standard ECU?

Cat was new last week.

Was running nice and rich when I got the car dyno\'d last year.

Maybe the garage just played with the revs until it passed. As I said they didn\'t record the revs.

Or maybe they just thought it should pass because it\'a cool car!!
